JUSTICE FOR KURT NEWSLETTER - MAY 7TH 2002 http://www.justiceforkurt.com

SITE NEWS
I have been overwhelmed by all the people who have written and offered to help with something, or submit things. I honestly didn't expect it!

No real news on the site, other than the new stuff listed below. Also the new forums are taking off, and the hits keep growing, thanks to promotion and word of mouth. Keep it up!

NEW STUFF ON THE SITE
1. An Open Letter to Courtney Love has been added. The link is on the main page of the site. She can put an end to this if she wanted to by suing Tom Grant. Don't hold your breath though.

2. The flyer was updated last week. It's got more information, and a better font which should make for easier printing. It's also available in in HTML format, for those who can't print graphics.

Thanks to Katie and Bieke, the flyer is also available in Polish and Dutch!

3. Instant Websites are up! The first one is based on the new flyer above. I've made it into a wizard where you can build your own custom page by choosing colors, and logos. Download the finished files and upload them somewhere. It's pretty simple now, but will probably get more advanced with much more options in the weeks to come.

4. MOJO magazine (from the UK) covered the investigation within a 16- page spread about Nirvana back in their May 1998 issue. The cover story was "Who Killed Kurt Cobain?". You can now read that online and view images from it on the site. Thanks to Monica for submitting that awesome piece of media coverage.

5. Added Tom Grant's manual to the Books section of the site. Since the Table of Contents he's got listed on his site seems to be from an old version of the manual, I've decided to put up the revised listings from my copy. There are also a few scans. If you've got 30 bucks to spare, order it and help support his investigation. It's well worth the money.

6. There are now scanned versions of the letters Tom Grant sent to Courtney Love and Rosemary Carroll in 1994. They are available in the Case Documents section. Thanks to J.F.K. who found them online.

Speaking of the Case Documents section, it has gotten a little makeover. Things are a little more organized, and all the documents are now on actual pages, instead of just linking to images. This solves the problem with some browsers that like to automatically resize images.

7. Want to go over the heads of the Seattle police? Write to Seattle City officials! One of them even established the "Office of Police Accountability". With these people, it's all about getting the votes to win their next election. If enough people are passionate about something, they'll jump in and check it out. That way they save their asses from being voted out by a large group of people. Of course since most of us aren't in Seattle and can't vote, it probably wouldn't matter to them anyway. But you don't have to mention that you're from Florida or something in e-mail, on the phone, or in a fax. :) Contact information and website links are available in the Letter Campaigns section. If you're in Seattle or around that area, snail mail or call them! Thanks to Cassa who sent me this information.
