MP3 FILES
Got extra space? Make a copy of all your Nirvana MP3 files, maybe place them in a new folder on your hard drive, and rename them with the URL of this site in the filename. Then share that folder.

Before: Nirvana - Name of Song.mp3
After: JUSTICEFORKURT.COM - Nirvana - Name of Song.mp3

This is especially useful, because even if people do not download the file from you, it will still show up in the search results when they search for Nirvana or the name of the song. Curiosity may get the best of them, and we've got a new visitor. It works. You're not limited to using the URL of this site. Support the other sites. Here's a screen shot of it in action on the popular WinMX service.

Don't have extra space, or don't want to rename your files? You can also edit the ID3 tag of all your MP3 files that are being shared, not just Nirvana files, and add in the URL to the site in the hidden "Comments" or "Album" fields of the ID3 tags. The file name stays the same with this method. Just about all player programs have a way to open and edit the ID3 tags embedded in each MP3 file. Here is a screen shot of the editor from the popular WinAMP player.

In some players, this information will scroll across when the song is played.

IMAGE FILES
If you've got a slow connection and don't want to share large MP3 files, then images are the next best way to go. Simple get some images of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain or save the case documents and sticker graphics available on this site, and rename them similar to how you'd rename MP3 files. Names like kurt_cobain.jpg, nirvana.jpg, courtney_love.jpg, etc will do. Some programs have image sharing turned off by default. Check your settings to be sure its turned on.

VIDEO FILES
Got a high speed connection and sharing full length MPEG video files of Nirvana videos, bootlegs or interviews? Rename or embed information in a few of those too.
